On Sunday 2nd April, straight after church, we held our annual Spring Fair in the hall. Some of the stalls there included Cakes, Plants, Tombolas (including an Easter Egg Tombola), and of course a Raffle. The prizes included boxes of chocolates, a bottle of wine, and there was a separate raffle for a beautiful handmade Simnel cake, made by Ann Squirrell.
The kitchen served homemade chicken curry and rice, as well as hot dogs and homemade soup.
In total, we raised £410, and a great time was had by all. If homemade food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere appeal, why not come along to our next fair on Sunday 2nd July, where we have a stall at the South Norwood Festival in Tennison Road Park. We'll be selling homemade cakes and homegrown plants - look forward to seeing you there!
